Rangpur Division is one the Divisions in Bangladesh which was formed on January 2010. Before that, it had been the northern eight districts of the Rajshahi Division. The Rangpur division consists of eight districts. The Rangpur district has many tourist spots as Tajhat, a former “Rajbari” or Zamidar’s palace, the birthplace of Begum Rokeya in Pairabondh, Tajbari Museum, Town Hall, Teesta Barrage, Bhinno Jogot park, Chicli Vata, Rangpur Zoo, Raipur Zamindar palace etc.

- Kantajees Temple (Dinajpur): This old historical Temple is situated in Dinajpur district. It is the most ornate among the late medieval temples of Bangladesh. The temple was established in the year 1722 by Ram Nath, son of Maharaja Pran Nath. It was originally a navaratna temple, crowned with four richly ornamental corner towers on two stores and a central one over the third stored.
- Ramshagor Dighi: The beautiful Ramshagor Dighi (Lake) was dug in 17th Century by Maharaja Ram Nath to solve the water problem of the area. This lake has now become one of the famous historical places as well as a tourist spot also.
- Shopnopuri: It is one of the most beautiful artificial tourist spot in North Bengal part of Bangladesh. You can go there either from Hili or from Dinajpur. There you can enjoy your full day watching this artificial beauty. This place is really beautiful.
- Tajhat Palace: This museum is located at Tajhat Road, Rangpur. This is the only museum listed in Rangpur district.
- Vinnya Jagat: This amusement park is located at Paglapir, Khaleya, Rangpur. This is the beautiful amusement park located in Rangpur district.
- Rangpur Town Hall: This is not just an auditorium, but rather a cultural, political, and social center. This is the traditional center for the whole cultural and political activities in Rangpur. Rangpur Town Hall is holding the tradition and memory of almost a century.
- Nayabad Mosque: This historical mosque was built during the reign of Emperor Shah Alam II in 1793 AD. King Vaidyanath was the Zamindar of the area that time. He was the last descendant of Dinajpur Raj family. Nayabad Mosque is located in Nayabad village of Ramchandrapur Union under Kaharol upazila in Dinajpur district. The mosque was established on 1.15 bighas of land.
- Chandamari Masjid: This famous masjid is located at Rajarhat, Kurigram. Besides this landmark, there are more landmarks listed in Kurigram.
- Rangpur Zoo: It is the largest zoo in the north Bengal region of Bangladesh located in Rangpur town. Its construction was started on August 14, 1988, and completed in June 1991. Total land area of Rangpur Zoo is 22.17 acres. There are children's parks, restaurants, artificial lakes and various species of animals and trees in the zoo. In fact, it is not only the zoo but also a green park full of trees.
- Begum Rokeya Smriti Kendro (Begum Rokeya Memorial Centre): Located in Pairabondh, Rangpur district.
